In 2013, the UK Government established the Energy Company Obligation scheme, also known as ECO. The scheme obligates larger energy companies to help homeowners and tenants improve the energy efficiency of their properties. The scheme has helped many UK households to more efficiently heat their home, reduce their energy consumption, and step out of fuel poverty.
Under the ECO scheme, larger energy companies have funded billions of pounds worth of energy saving measures that have helped their customers to significantly save on their energy bills over the lifetime of the measures. How do I qualify for ECO?
ECO 4 removes some of the none means tested benefits, but massively expands FLEX and adds some other legacy benefits to make sure as many people benefit from ECO as possible.
